It is the perfect day to give the gift of life for Christmas.
The annual Guns and Hoses event is being held at the Canadian Blood Services Office on Mapleton Road on December 19 from 9-5pm.
Emergency responders will be rolling up their sleeves, in a friendly competition to see who will make the most donations.
The public is encouraged to do the same.
