Animal Control Officers To Increase Patrols In Parks And On Trails

Animal Control officers will be patrolling parks and trails more frequently, with the help of a new vehicle.

The Greater Moncton SPCA acquired the vehicle yesterday, thanks to help from the City of Moncton and Green Diamond Equipment.

If you have a dog, you must purchase a license each year.

A license costs between $10 and $20 dollars.

If your pet does not have that license, you could face a fine of $50.

Animal Control officers will also be cracking down on dogs who are are running off leash.
