Anglophone East School District to Hold Second Annual Atlantic Educational Summit

Teachers from right across Atlantic Canada will visit the Moncton region next month, to take part in an Educational Summit being hosted by Anglophone East School District.

Technology Subject Coordinator Mario Chaisson says it’s the second year for the Summit. “The Summit is really focusing on technology integration, and how we can better infuse technology into the classroom. It’s a great opportunity for the teachers to learn the latest and the greatest technology.”

He says they’ve got teachers coming from Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, PEI, Quebec and Maine. He says parents are welcome to attend as well, “To have a better understanding on how the parents can work collaboratively with schools and how they can support them, and have a better understanding on how education is moving forward and integrating better technologies.”

The three day Summit is being held July 4th to 6th, at Moncton High.
