Amusement And Carnival Rides Coming To Moncton

Starting this July, there will be more family friendly activities in Moncton.

An amusement park expansion to the Magic Mountain water park will include a variety of rides and carnival games.

Many Monctonians will recognize at least some of the rides, like the Carousel as carryovers from the now closed Crystal Palace.

Magic Mountain Limited President Mark Jelley says some rides will be ready by mid-July of this year, with two more phases of expansion planned taking them right into 2017.

Jelley says by then they expect to have even more rides, and an indoor amusement facility with laser tag, blacklight mini golf and a large arcade among other things.

The expansion will provide an unspecified number of full time year round jobs, as well as more than 30 seasonal positions.

The full list of additional rides scheduled for this July is:

– The Sky Flyer

– Carousel

– Krazy Kars

– Red Baron

– Convoy

– Jumpin’ Star

– Treehouse Playpark

– Rio Grande Train
