An update about Alik, the Amur tiger.
The Magnetic Hill Zoo now says a thorough health assessment and examination were done, and the veterinary team is pleased with the progress.
Alik is returning to his habitat on Wednesday.
A social media post adds that the animal care team will continue to monitor him closely.
The Zoo also thanked everyone for the many supportive messages received from the public over the past few days.
This comes just days after the tiger was removed from the exhibit over concerns about Alik’s mobility.
