A “Beeting” in Uptown Saint John

The King Canna Cannabis store at 76 Germain Street in Uptown Saint John was targeted for vandalism just before dawn on Thursday.

The store has three broken windows and is smeared with pickled beets suggesting a large can or glass bottle of beets was used for the vandalism.

The building owner Steve Smith tells our newsroom, he heard noises around 6:15 AM and arrived to find the wheelchair ramp ripped from the front of the building and the broken windows as well as the smeared beets on the front of the building and sidewalk.
