Public Health has ordered nine Dollarama stores to close for 48 hours due to a possible workplace exposure to COVID-19.
The order impacts nine stores from Fredericton to Edmundston, including six in the capital region.
“While there is not believed to be a risk to the public, out of an abundance of caution the stores have been ordered to do a deep cleaning before being permitted to open again,” Public Health said in a series of tweets late Wednesday night.
The affected stores are:
- 102 Main Street, Fredericton
- 528 Smythe Street, Fredericton
- 5 Trinity Drive, Fredericton (Corbett Centre)
- 1381 Regent Street, Fredericton (Regent Mall)
- 125 Two Nations Crossing, Fredericton
- 1198 Onondaga Street, Oromocto
- 337 Connell Street, Woodstock
- 15 Mowin St., Madawaska Maliseet First Nation
- 11 Boul Centre, Saint-Basile (Madawaska Centre)
