Positive COVID-19 Case At Bessborough School

Bessborough School will be closed on Thursday, January 7th, after a positive COVID-19 case was identified.

An email was sent out to parents of the Moncton school tonight from the Anglophone East School District Acting Superintendent Pamela Wilson to inform them of the case.

It states the District is working with Public Health to identify any students or staff who may have been in contact with the case. Those who are affected will be contacted to determine whether or not they need to self-isolate.

The school will be closed on Thursday to complete contact tracing.

Public Health advises anyone who is showing symptoms of COVID-19 to get tested.

If you are not experiencing symptoms, but would like to be tested, should call to make an appointment.

The letter adds those who are not contacted by Public Health, should return to school once it reopens.
