A 45-year-old Moncton man has been charged with aggravated assault and unlawful confinement in an ongoing attempted murder investigation.
Codiac RCMP arrested a man outside a home on Allison Drive in Moncton on Wednesday (December 9).
Martin Richard Sirois remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on December 16 for a bail hearing.
This is the second person to be charged after an incident on December 2 when police were called to the corner of Mountain Road and Oakland Avenue.
Nathaniel Joseph Bourque, 26, faces three charges including attempted murder with a firearm.
Mounties had also arrested a 25-year-old woman and a 40-year-old Dieppe man but both were later released and have not been charged.
