A Fredericton-area man is going to prison after pleading guilty to child pornography-related charges.
RCMP’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit began investigating in July 2019 which led to the search of a Lincoln home last January.
Police seized several electronic devices and a man was arrested at the home.
Robert Allan Love, 53, was charged in June with possessing child pornography and making it available.
On Friday, he was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison and has been added to the National Sex Offender Registry for life.
Upon release, he will have to abide by court conditions including not being around children.
