Three people from Burnt Church have been displaced following two residential fires in the community.
The Red Cross is helping out a woman who is staying with friends after she was forced out by a fire around 7 p.m. on Thursday.
They are providing some emergency purchases like food and clothing.
They are also working with the Chief and band council following a second fire that happened around an hour later, just a few kilometres away.
Another woman and her school-aged son were displaced and have now been set up with emergency lodging and some essentials.
The community has also been providing support for the individuals, which includes an online fundraiser.
