Four Arrested In Drug Trafficking Investigation

Four people have been arrested after Mounties seized drugs (suspected cocaine), drug equipment, ammunition, brass knuckles and money in Moncton and Dieppe as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

RCMP brought in a police dog and searched two homes simultaneously on Gauvin Road and Highlandview Road around 8:45 p.m. Thursday night (November 5).

During the searches, police arrested a 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, both from Moncton, and a 23-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, both from Dieppe.

The four individuals were later released and are scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on April 20, 2021.

Anyone who suspects illegal drug activity in their neighbourhood is asked to contact police.
