Possible COVID-19 Exposure In Moncton

New Brunswick Public Health has identified potential exposure to COVID-19 at a gym in Moncton.

Officials say anyone who visited the Fit-4-Less on Main Street between 2 and 4 p.m. from last Friday through Sunday (October 23-25) should self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days.

Meantime, one new case of COVID-19 is being reported in the Fredericton region (Zone 3) and it’s related to international travel.

The individual is in their 40’s and they are said to be self-isolating.

The number of active cases continues to drop in the province, currently at 39.

The Campbellton Zone 5 Region remains in the Orange level of recovery and residents have to limit their contact to a single household bubble.

In addition, the state of emergency mandatory order was renewed on Thursday under the authority of the Emergency Measures Act.
