The Town of Riverview is taking a proactive approach over next year’s six-month closure of the Causeway.
While construction of a new steel girder bridge continues, commuter traffic will be confined to only the Gunningsville Bridge and that is expected to cause a significant disruption.
The Town will be holding a panel discussion on Friday, October 30 at noon with municipal and provincial leaders during a Facebook Live event.
On Wednesday, November 4, the Town invites residents to join a public engagement session, facilitated by deep-change expert Lisa Hrabluk, also livestreamed on Facebook from 4-6 p.m.
The new 1.6 kilometre Bridgedale Boulevard, being built from Gunningsville Boulevard to Runnymeade Road, is expected to alleviate some of the traffic congestion.
