Trick-or-Treating Permitted In Greater Moncton

The province moving the Moncton region back to the yellow means residents in the tri-communities will be able to participate in door-to-door trick-or-treating, if they wish.

Halloween will be different this year and residents are asked to respect those who choose not to participate this year.

The municipalities have provided some options to show others that you are not participating, which include hanging a ‘no visitors’ sign or turning off your porch lights.

Those that DO wish to take part in door-to-door trick-or-treating this year must follow the province’s Halloween guidelines.

Public health is asking that you sanitize hands between trick or treaters, keep high touch areas such as door handles and railings clean and consider offering non-food treats like stickers or coloured pencils.
