Overwhelming Support For Dieppe Fire Victims

Donations began pouring in last week, for the families left displaced by an apartment fire in Dieppe.

A Gauvin Road apartment building was extensively damaged on September 20th. Around 50 families were left temporarily homeless.

City of Dieppe Spokesperson Gabrielle Maillet says they’ve run out of room at Club d’age d’or due to the overwhelming support.

She says gift cards or a monetary donation, can still be dropped off.

Any remaining donations that do not go to the fire victims will be donated to charity or to local schools with children in need.
