A Look Inside One Of Greater Moncton’s Landmark Properties.

The City of Dieppe is offering a sneak peek into the recently restored Doiron House.

A virtual tour of the historic Acadian home will premier tonight at 7 on the City of Dieppe’s Youtube channel.

The Amirault Street home has undergone restoration to turn it into a cultural centre.

The historic home was built by writer, farmer and justice of the peace Joseph Doiron in 1841 and is one of the largest traditional Acadian houses ever built.

Its basement also served as a school from the 1840s to the 1850s.

In-person tours will begin this weekend.
