The Magnetic Hill Zoo needs your help to name their new otters.
The latest additions arrived last month from Texas, and they’re just over a year old.
Director Jill Marvin says, “Our female, she is a little bit smaller and has a lighter colour. The male, he’s a sexy boy. He certainly has a glistening beautiful coat and the females has the personality.”
There are names to choose from, that represent the Otters personalities, “There are four choices, River and Ranger, Reese and Twix, Quiddy and Keswick, which are names of rivers in new Brunswick, and Fir and Violet, which are trees and flowers in New Brunswick,” Marvin says.
She says they are living in the newly remodelled Otter exhibit, “We just remodelled it. We refreshened it, and got it ready for a new pair. So it is the same habitat, we just gave it a freshen up.”
