Transport Truck Rolls Over At Fuelling Station

An investigation is underway after a transport truck rolled over at the Irving fuelling station on Edinburgh Drive.

Moncton Fire, RCMP and other emergency reponders were called to the scene at around 5:30 pm Saturday evening.

They found a transport truck lying on it side on the concrete.

Platoon Chief Ron Arsenault says it appears the driver may have experienced a mechanical issue, while coming from the CN Hump Yard.

In an effort not to roll into the woods, he ended up on the concrete. at the fuelling station.

Around 10 firefighters helped to contain a spill of oil and fuel.

Arsenault says the driver was taken to hospital to be checked over.
