Artists Show Off Skills In Provincial Parks

When you visit a provincial park or attraction over the long weekend, you may see New Brunswick artists honing their craft.

The Fresh AIR Program gives artists the chance to work outside where they can produce work and engage with the public.

The artist-in-residence initiative is taking place from Saturday until Monday at five locations.

Woodcarver Justin Sappier will be at Mactaquac Provincial Park and multidisciplinary/media artists Valerie LeBlanc and Daniel Dugas will be at Hopewell Rocks.

Musician Bruno Jacques Pelletier and textile artist Charline Collette will be at the New Brunswick Botanical Garden and photographer Jason Nugent will be in Mount Carleton Provincial Park.

Literary artist/writer Jonathan Roy will be at Village Historique Acadien.
