The city of Moncton is moving quickly to revert part of Main back to a two-way street.
After receiving second an third reading at a special council meeting today, crews are set begin work tomorrow morning.
Therefore, Main Street, between Botsford and Lutz streets, will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m, weather permitting.
During the closure, Codiac Transpo’s Route 51-Green in both directions will be diverted onto Queen Street, between Highfield and Botsford.
The one-way configuration was meant to stay in place until the end of September but outcry from the business community urged the city to make the change sooner.
