YAY or NAY? Mandated Dress Codes for Students Learning From Home

Do you think a mandated dress code for students learning from home is acceptable? Well the decision is getting mixed reviews in Illonis.

Whether taking classes online or in person, public school students in Springfield, Illinois, “must follow the dress code of the building, and so no pajama pants,” a district administrator said.

According to their student handbook:

“Hats, caps, bandanas, hoods of any type, sweatbands, sunglasses, pajama pants, slippers, or shoes with wheels attached to the bottom shall not be worn in the buildings,”

These rules are applied inside of the school AND at home with remote learning.

The question is are you FOR or AGAINST mandating dress codes for students when it comes to remote learning or online classes from home?
