One person has been charged and a quantity of drugs was seized following a an RCMP traffic stop in Petitcodiac.
On August 4th, police arrested a 39-year-old Shediac man and seized approximately 3.5 kilograms of what is believed to be cocaine from a vehicle.
The arrest is part to an ongoing drug trafficking investigation in New Brunswick.
The following day, Jason Cormier was charged in court with trafficking and possession of cocaine.
Cormier remains in custody until a scheduled bail hearing in Moncton Provincial Court next Wednesday.
