The Lebanese Red Cross says at least 100 people are dead, and that number is expected to rise, as crews continue to sift through the rubble in Beirut.
A massive explosion ripped through the community yesterday.
Officials have said it’s believed the blast was caused by over 2700 tonnes of ammonium nitrate that had been stored for six years at the city’s port.
Over 4000 people are injured.
There has been an outpouring of support from people around the world.
An emergency number has been set up for those trying to locate a loved one or friend.
