The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is investigating reports of people receiving unsolicited packages containing seeds.
The C-F-I-A is cautioning residents not to plant the mystery seeds as they could be invasive plants, or carry plant pests, which can be harmful when introduced into Canada.
They say these species can invade agricultural and natural areas, causing serious damage to our plant resources.
If you receive seeds you did not order, keep them along with the packaging and contact the food inspection agency office immediately.
