Firefighters To Conduct Training Exercises On Petitcodiac River

The Riverview Fire Department will be training on the Petiticodiac River over the next two weeks.

They’ll be using their new 4.5 metre rescue boat.

The boat is a rigid inflatable boat with an aluminum hull, constructed by Gala Boats, and supplied by New Star Marine in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

It weighs less than 400kg, which is half the weight of the 20-year-old Zodiac model it is replacing.
