A major spike in gas prices in the province overnight.
The Energy and Utilities Board increased the maximum price of regular self serve by 5.8 cents a litre.
Several stations in Moncton are now selling for around 99 cents.
Diesel prices also rose, by 3.6 cents a litre.
If you’re in need of propane, there’s a tiny bit of good news there. It dipped by 0.1 cent.
