Transit providers across the province have collaborated to make masks mandatory onboard their buses.
Effective June 29th, all Codiac Transpo passengers will be required to wear a mask, unless they are under two years old, or if they have a medical condition.
Transit providers in Moncton, Saint John and Fredericton will also be increasing the number of passengers to 50 per cent.
This is being done in an effort to create a unified operational plan and approach during COVID-19.
