House Fire Displaces Family of Three

The Canadian Red Cross is assisting three adults who have bee displaced following a fire at their home on Friday afternoon..

The fire was quickly confined to the front entrance area, but also caused smoke damage inside their bungalow in Moncton.

Canadian Red Cross volunteers have assisted a couple and their adult daughter with emergency lodging and meals while they await a damage assessment and further help through insurance.

The daughter was the only one home at the time and was not injured from the fire on Salisbury Road.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
