A member of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds demonstration team has died after one of the planes went down in Kamloops, B.C. A second person has been seriously injured.
The Royal Canadian Air Force and CF Snowbirds confirmed the news via Twitter this evening.
The crash occurred during Operation Inspiration, which was meant to brighten spirits during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The plane went down moments after takeoff. Reports say it crashed into a home.
