Inmate Dies At Dorchester Penitentiary

Correctional Service Canada is reporting the death of an inmate at Dorchester Penitentiary.

Fifty-four year old Edward Pittman died on Sunday of natural causes following an illness.

Pittman was convicted in 1992 on several offences including second degree murder, and assault with a weapon.

He was serving a life sentence.
