First-Degree Murder Suspect Sent For Evaluation

A 49-year-old Hillsborough man charged with first-degree murder is being sent for a 30-day psychiatric evaluation.

Calvin Andrew Lewis appeared in court via tele-remand on Monday.

Lewis was arrested Saturday shortly after RCMP found the body of a woman at a home in Hillsborough.

The victim has been identified as Tina Tingley-McAleer.

Police say the suspect and victim were living together.

Following his evaluation, Lewis will return to court on June 4.
