Expansion Dieppe Launches Revamped Website To Support Businesses

Expansion Dieppe, the city’s economic development arm, has launched a revamped website that offers tools and resources to better support businesses.

The website includes information like public and private land for sale, commercial and industrial space for rent, traffic counts, and a business directory, among other things. The organization has also added a page that includes resources and information related to COVID-19.

The site allows the organization to serve businesses in Dieppe, as well as those thinking of setting up in the region by offering easily access relevant information.

“Like many businesses affected by the current pandemic, we must be proactive and innovate in order to emerge from this crisis even stronger. It is an opportunity to turn this challenging time into an enriching experience, in order to better serve our current and future clients,” said executive director Louis Godbout said in a release.

“Moreover, this has stimulated creativity within our team; stay tuned, because more announcements will be made throughout the year. As the region prepares to slowly lift containment measures implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are working with our economic development partners on developing an economic recovery plan for southeastern New Brunswick.”

The new website is also part of Expansion Dieppe’s effort to show a “modern, unified and coherent brand” that stands out and strives to positively influence the city’s economic environment, the release said.

Expansion Dieppe’s team helps interested parties to start or grow a business, or invest in the city. They also tout their work in helping stimulate innovative thinking, fostering local and regional partnerships, and encouraging companies to take opportunities to come out of this crisis stronger.

“More than ever, we must support the local economy, collaborate and innovate,” says board chair Claude Paré in the release.

The organization invites local businesses to share their stories through email at expansiondieppe@dieppe.ca or by tagging them on social media.
