The Southeast District RCMP needs the public’s help in a hit-and-run investigation that occurred in Moncton last summer.
On July 26th, members from the Riverview RCMP received a report of an injured man laying in the eastbound lane of Highway 2, near the Elmwood Drive Exit.
The man was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries and later released from the hospital.
Police believe the man was riding a bicycle on Highway 2 and was struck by a vehicle sometime between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m.
However, they have not been able to identity the type of vehicle involved in the collision.
Police are asking anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers
