Moncton Skate Park Not Open To Public Yet

A reminder from the City of Moncton that the skate park is also not open to public as of yet.

Spokesperson Isabelle Leblanc says there was confusion surrounding Friday’s message put out by the province that stated parks were reopening.

Leblanc says playgrounds and the skate parks do not fall under the same category.

Several reports on social media over the weekend indicated that there were large crowds at the skate park over the weekend.

The City also posted on Facebook over the weekend, that playgrounds are not open yet.

Premier Blaine Higgs announced on Friday COVID-19 restrictions are slowly being lifted.
