NB Gas Prices Rise For First Time In Weeks

Something we haven’t seen in weeks at the gas pumps.

There was a big spike in prices overnight with the weekly adjustment by the Energy and Utilities Board.

The maximum price of regular self serve is up by 5.5 cents a litre.

Several stations in Moncton are selling for around 76 cents this morning.

Diesel and furnace oil prices also rose, not as much though.

Diesel is up by 2.1 cents, while furnace oil rose by 1.7 cents.
