UPDATE: Spring Storm Expected for Good Friday

It appears Old Man Winter isn’t done with us yet.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement with the potential of snow and winds for Thursday night and into Friday.

Predictions are calling for between 15 and 25 centimetres of snow with winds up to 80 kilometres an hour.

They’re also warning of pounding surf and elevated water levels in areas including the Fundy shore and Acadian Coast.

The snow is expected to begin on Thursday, but will get heavier as the temperature dips. It could change to rain in the Fundy and southeastern parts of the province.
