After ongoing negotiations for over a year, the City of Moncton and CUPE Local 51 negotiations teams now have a tentative agreement.
This affects around 200 permanent and casual employees who deliver services including water maintenance, snow and ice control, and operation of parks, grounds, and arenas.
The previous agreement expired on December 31, 2018.
Details of the agreement won’t be released until it is presented to union members.
