NB Gas Prices Plunge Again

And the gas prices keep tumbling.

The interrupter clause kicked in once again overnight, dropping the maximum price of regular self serve by 8.2 cents a litre.

Several stations in Moncton are selling for around 89 cents a litre.

This is due to a petroleum market slump.

Diesel and furnace oil didn’t change.

Tonight, the regular weekly price adjustments will be made and reports say we’ll see regular fuel dip again by around four cents a litre.

Diesel and furnace oil could see massive dips of over 10 cents.

Meantime, The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board is closing to the public effective today, due to COVID-19.
