COVID-19 Precautions for City of Dieppe

The City of Dieppe says it is monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic closely and following the instructions given by the Public Health and the province’s Chief Medical Officer.

They’ve taken steps to protect employees and residents and reduce the spread of the virus.

Travelers arriving from Iran, Italy or the Chinese province of Hubei must refrain from having contact with others, regardless of whether they have symptoms or not.

Anyone who has traveled abroad should refrain from having contact with others for two weeks from the day of their return to Canada.

Following the recommendation to not have groups of more than 150 people and to respect the social distance of 6 feet, recreational facilities (except parks, trails and the refrigerated skating oval) will be closed to the public starting at midnight tonight, until further notice.

The Aquatic and Sports Centre payment counter will be closed. Your payments can be made at City Hall.

The municipality has already taken measures in its facilities to try to reduce the risks of contamination.

  • The frequency of cleaning in high traffic areas has been increased.
  • Posting of the posters produced by the government.
  • Monitoring of soap dispensers in order to ensure that they are always filled.
