Post-Secondary Institutions Cancel In-Person Classes

Several post-secondary institutions have made class changes in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak.

The University of New Brunswick is suspending all in-person classes for the rest of the academic year starting at 8 a.m. Saturday.

Classes will resume using alternate methods on March 23. Both campuses, as well as residences, will remain open.

St. Thomas University in Fredericton made a similar decision earlier in the day Friday.

NBCC and Mount Allison University are also suspending in-person classes for the week of March 16 to 20, including apprenticeship and offsite training.
