A New Safe Alternative Driving Service Coming To Southeast New Brunswick

If you’re planning an outing with your loved one tonight for Valentines Day, and you’re looking for a way home, there is a new Safe Alternative.

This new driving service is expanding into the Moncton area.

Co-Owner for “A Safe Alternative Driving Service” or ASA Shawn Meehan says they started in 2010 in British Columbia , but they wanted to begin offering the service to other parts of the country as well.

“We had the intention this year to start developing into other markets. We had one of our most trusted Junior partners moving to the East Coast. We thought that’s a good reason to start in Moncton. We asked if she would keep working with us and becoming a Regional Manager, ” Meehan explained.

The concept is, you pre-arrange your trip with ASA and a they’ll help to ensure you get home, along with your vehicle.

“The way we see it, is it is much cheaper and more convenient to hire us one way back home, then cab your way into town and cab your way back. You have the convenience of your own vehicle, put your seat back and we take you and your car home,” Meehan says.

The new service launches tonight, and will cover Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview, Shediac, Cocagne, Memramcook, Salisbury, Hillsborough, Sackville, Port Elgin, and everywhere from Aulac to Cocagne, and Petitcodiac to the Confederation Bridge and beyond.
