With significant snow and freezing rain forecast, Winter Carnival Ignite scheduled for Friday has been postponed.
Instead, the opening ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 8 at 7 p.m.
Additionally, the Saturday Winter Wonderland event will begin at 2:30 p.m. and end at 5 p.m.
This will allow time for maintenance crews to clean up from the storm and prepare the site at Winter Wonderland Park.
Please note that there will be NO SLIDING permitted on the hill on Saturday to allow the crews to set up the fireworks.
The Town of Riverview will provide updates on the festivities as they continue to monitor the forecast.
