Seasonal Home In Trois-Ruisseaux Destroyed By Fire

A home on Connie Street in Trois-Ruisseaux near Cap Pele has been destroyed by fire.

Cap-Pele Fire Chief Ronald Cormier says the one storey home was fully engulfed when they arrived at around 5:45 this morning.

The home is located along the Northumberland Strait, and Cormier says the cold and high winds helped to fuel the flames, and also made it difficult for firefighters battling the blaze.

It is a seasonal home, so no one was there when the fire broke out.

There’s no word on a cause yet.
