Candidates Starting To Surface For Upcoming Municipal Election

The municipal election is still months away, but candidates are beginning to step forward to announce they are running for a spot on Moncton City Council.

Erik Gingles made his intentions public on Facebook. He is running as a mayoral candidate.

Chad Peters intends to hold a campaign launch this morning. An email to our newsroom says he will make an important announcement regarding the upcoming municipal election.

Dawn Arnold has not made her intentions clear as of yet.

In Riverview, Ann Seamans will be running for Mayor for a third term. Tammy Rampersaud has also stepped forward stating she will run for as a mayoral candidate.

Lana Hansen, will not be running for a Councillor seat again in the next election.

In Dieppe, we haven’t heard yet, whether or not Yvon Lapierre will run again for Mayor.

New Brunswickers will go to the polls on May 11.
