Atlantic Canadians Most Worried About Finances

Recent polls commissioned by Scotiabank revealed that Canadians spend about 2 hours a day worrying about finances.

The study shows Canadians aged 18-35 worry the most about their finances, at just over 2 hours a day, while those aged 55 and over worry about half as much.

Scotiabank spokesperson D’Arcy McDonald says many Canadians find it difficult to balance saving, spending and paying down loans.

The majority of respondents find the amount of information about investing overwhelming, especially among millennials.

Residents in the Atlantic region spend the most time amongst all Canadians worrying about their finances at over 3 hours per day.
