Moncton Wildcats Welcome Two Returning Coaches

The Moncton Wildcats will have two familiar coaching names behind the bench when they resume play on Saturday.

On Friday, the team announced Josh Hepditch is returning as an assistant coach.

Hepditch was also a defenceman with the Wildcats from 2002 to 2006 and assistant coach from 2017 until earlier this year.

On Monday, the Wildcats hired Daniel Lacroix as their new head coach replacing the recently departed John Torchetti.

Lacroix served as an assistant coach from 2002 to 2006 and briefly as interim head coach.

“We’re looking forward to having Josh rejoin the team,” said Lacroix. “Josh knows the organization well having played and coached here.”

The Wildcats take on the Charlottetown Islanders at 4 pm (December 28) at the Avenir Centre.
