There’s no word yet on the cause of a fire at the West Side Restaurant and Bar in Riverview.
Deputy Chief Robin True says they found heavy smoke coming from the building on Coverdale Road when they arrived at around 3 this morning.
Around 18 Riverview firefighters battled the blaze, and an engine from Moncton was also called in to assist.
There is extensive damage to the building, part of the roof collapsed into the restaurant.
No one was at there when the fire broke out.
