A 27 year old man from Lutes Mountain is facing a number of charges after incidents on December 6 and 7th.
Joshua Thomas Rossiter appeared in court yesterday facing 16 charges including assaulting an officer with a weapon, robbery, attempted robbery and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
RCMP say were called after reports of robberies outside bank branches on Mountain Road as well as Trinity Drive. They also received a report of someone stealing gas from a station on Mountain Road..
At around 3:30am, a car was spotted, matching the suspect vehicle, with a person was sleeping inside.

Police say the driver drove into several parked vehicles, including four cruisers.
RCMP fired a shot at the suspect vehicle.
A man was arrested after driving into a ditch near Horsman and Berry Mills Road. He was treated in hospital for a minor gunshot injury.
As a standard practice, the Investigation Unit of Manitoba, a civilian oversight agency, will conduct a review of this incident and police actions taken.
