The kids at the Moncton Boys and Girls Club are very excited about a new community outreach project.
Director of Resource Development for the Club, Sean Lockhart says they’ve partnered with WestJet to put together personal care kits.
They will include things like tooth paste, soap, deodorant and gloves.
Lockhart says the kids chose to help out Harvest House Atlantic with the initiative and will be delivering the kits later today.
He says projects like this encourage kids to give back and helps them develop a sensitivity to various social issues.
You can do your part to support the Boy’s and Girls Club and it can be as easy as watching your favourite holiday movie.
Select Cineplex theaters across the country are showing a number of free holiday films today.
They’ll also be selling discounted snacks and all proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club of Canada, before being distributed back into local clubs.
